TENS vs EMS
TENS primarily stimulates sensory nerves and usually feels like tingling without visible muscle movement. EMS stimulates motor nerves and produces muscle contractions. The appropriate mode depends on your goal, health and placement. Read our TENS vs EMS guide before selecting a mode.
Independent Dual Channels
Channels A and B can be adjusted separately, allowing different comfortable intensity levels on two areas during the same session. Dual channel does not mean every mode or placement combination is appropriate. Never position electrodes so current passes across the chest.
How to Use the TENS Unit
- Charge the unit and connect the lead wires while the device is switched off.
- Apply pads to clean, dry, intact skin near the intended area.
- Select the appropriate mode and begin at the lowest intensity.
- Increase gradually until the sensation is strong but comfortable, never painful.
- Switch the unit off before moving or removing the pads.
See the TENS unit pad placement guide and visit the KONGZEE TENS unit manual and support page for setup and troubleshooting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a rechargeable TENS unit?
Yes. It has a built-in rechargeable battery and USB-C charging for portable home and travel use.
What does dual channel mean?
Two independently adjustable outputs let you set a comfortable intensity for channel A and channel B separately.
Can I use it on my lower back?
General lower-back placement uses the muscles on either side of the painful area rather than directly over the spine. Follow the manual and our placement guide, and seek professional advice for severe, unexplained or radiating pain.
How strong should TENS feel?
Start at the lowest level and increase gradually until the sensation is strong but comfortable, never painful.
How long should a session last?
Session length depends on the goal, individual response and professional advice. Begin conservatively and follow the included manual rather than assuming a longer session is better.
Can I take this TENS unit on an airplane?
The compact rechargeable unit can be packed for travel. Airline and airport battery rules vary, so keep it switched off and check your carrier's current requirements before flying.
Which replacement pads fit?
The device uses standard 2mm pin pads. Confirm the connector type before purchasing third-party replacements.
Who should not use a TENS or EMS unit?
People with certain implanted electronic devices or medical conditions may need to avoid electrical stimulation. Review the safety section and ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure.
